Meet the Zoom 2020 Team
Lindsay Eagle, Director/Producer (she/her/hers) is an engagement-driven director, actor, producer, theatre artist and educator with a passion for justice, representation, gender and body image activism. Lindsay had the pleasure of directing the world-premiere production of From The Deep in 2015, as well as a remount at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2016, and is thrilled to lead this 2020 developmental workshop and reading. Other directorial credits include the boundary-pushing X by Alistair McDowall, a radically representative production of Antigone by Jean Anouilh (both with Flat Earth Theatre), and the world-premiere production of Citizens of the Empire: a Space Opera by Kevin Mullins (Boston Public Works). As an actor, Lindsay earned critical acclaim, and the Elliot Norton Award for Best Actress -- Small Theatre, for her portrayal of Helen in Fat Pig by Neil LaBute (Flat Earth Theatre), and has also acted with many local theatre companies. By day, she works as the Administrative Coordinator for the Theater Division at Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

Alex Leondedis, Playwright's Assistant, (he/him/his) is an actor, artist, and theatremaker originally from Kansas but currently trying to make waves in Boston. Alex is a Junior at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee studying Contemporary Theatre, where he has been seen onstage and behind the scenes in plays and devised projects such as Her Naked Skin, CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG, Resting Place, How I Learned To Drive, and Ephemera. Alex loves new work and bringing new stories to life, and has been thrilled to help this incredible team revitalize this play for our current moment. He hopes you enjoy the performance!
Jordan Pearson (Andrew) is now attending Boston Conservatory at Berklee studying Contemporary Theatre. Jordan's past theatre credits at the Conservatory include; Macbeth (Macbeth), Parade (Jim Conley), Midas (Metamorphosis) and Reggie in a Virginia Rep's Production of Akeelah and the Bee. He considers his highest achievement thus far being a play which he wrote, directed, and performed in when he was 14 years old, titled "Choices," at the Henrico Theatre for the Non-Profit organization Friends Helping Friends. Jordan has enjoyed the process of reimagining the character of Andrew and thanks you all for attending virtually.
Lee Nishri-Howitt, Dialect Coach, is a Boston-based voice, accent, and Shakespeare coach. Originally from Israel, Lee has coached productions at The American Repertory Theater, The Huntington Theatre, New Repertory Theatre, SpeakEasy Theater Company, among others. Lee teaches public speaking at Harvard University, and is an Assistant Professor of dialects at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Lee is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NY, and of the masters program for voice and speech at the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard University.
Dori Robinson, Israeli Consultant
Cassie M. Seinuk, Playwright/Producer (she/her/hers) is a Jewish Cuban playwright, stage manager, and educator in Boston, MA. Seinuk received a BA in Theatre Arts and Creative Writing at Brandeis University, an MFA in Writing for Stage and Screen at Lesley University, and received additional training at the Gary Garrison Kennedy Center Summer Playwright’s Intensive. Her play From the Deep has won multiple awards including The Pestalozzi New Play Prize, the Latinx Playwrights Award at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, was a recipient of the Boston University Jewish Culture Endowment, and it appeared on the Kilroys’ Honorable Mention List (2015). The premiere production of From the Deep received IRNE Award nominations and was a “Favorite” at the 2016 FringeNYC Festival. Her play Eyes Shut. Door Open. (ESDO) was a recipient of a grant from the Bob Jolly Charitable Fund, won the 2016 OnStage Critics Award for an Outstanding New Work. Full-length play Dream House was developed at New Repertory Theatre as part of Next Voices Fellows and was a Semi-Finalist for the 2016 National Playwrights Conference at The O’Neill. Dream House received further development at The Nora Theatre Company in 2018, and it was the play that made Seinuk a 2017 Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Fellow Finalist. Una Me Da Leche, a trilingual play, was a 2017 Semi-Finalist for The O’Neill National Playwrights’ Conference, received Honorable Mention for the Granite State Playwright’s Workshop, and was presented at the BCA’s She Said… Festival in 2019. Seinuk’s play Meet Me in the Bathroom is currently being developed by The Nora Theatre Company and Boston Conservatory Contemporary Theatre Program. Seinuk won the 2015 Gary Garrison Ten Minute Play Award at the Kennedy Center in 2015 for her play Occupy Hallmark; which has now been produced nationally and internationally. Seinuk is a member of The Dramatist Guild and Actors’ Equity Association. Seinuk serves on the faculty at Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music.
Slava Tchoul (Ilan) is excited to share the efforts of this workshop. Exploring themes of isolation and fear has been a powerful experience. Slava is a Boston based theatre artist. Recent productions include "No Exit" with Newton nomadic Theatre, "Othello" with Third Citizen Theatre Company and "X" with Flat Earth Theatre.
Regine Vital, Dramaturg (she/her/hers) is an actor/scholar/educator/writer/theatremaker/storyteller from Somerville, MA. She received her BA in English and History from Boston University and her MA in English Literature and Creative Writing from UMass Boston. She recently spent time in the UK studying Early Modern English Drama and Texts, focusing on Shakespeare, at King’s College, London and Shakespeare’s Globe. Currently, she is the Manager of Curriculum and Instruction in the Education department at the Huntington Theatre Company and teaches in Boston Public Schools. As an actor, she has appeared in many projects with several Boston area theatre companies, including Central Square Theatre, Asian American Playwright’s Collective, Flat Earth Theatre, Open Theatre Project, HUB Theatre Company, and Also Known As Theatre. When she isn’t telling stories on stage or talking too much about Shakespeare, Regine loves a good book, a good dance, and/or a great chat with great friends. Merde, folks!
